As flowers are a beautiful organic creation of nature, and have all gone through different processes throughout the growth period (including potential colouring), all flowers react differently throughout the preservation process, colours may change when preserved and when placed in resin. The colours you see on your phone screen or computer monitor can be different to what is seen with the naked eye, while we take every care to capture a true likeness with the photos we display, please understand the actual color may vary slightly from what you see displayed.♡

Finding the beauty in imperfections

All the products at Meadows by the Sea are handmade with love and care, and even though we make every effort to ensure their beauty, natural blemishes and imperfections are what make each piece unique. The natural components of our art all behave differently and as such there are inconsistencies based on the creative and natural components, making each piece unique from the others of its kind. Our pieces are produced at our home studio and the process is full of dedication, love and care.Any items purchased from Meadows by the Sea are one of a kind. There are no two identical items available and each item will feature different flower arrangements, different wood grain and botanical species, as well as different pigmentations, we will always make each item beautiful in its own right.

While Epoxy Resin has come a long way, it is still UV sensitive. We use high quality resin with UV resistance built in but they may still yellow over time with sun exposure. It is best to keep your piece out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.

The resin we use is scratch resistant but no resin is scratch proof. Don't use chemicals or abrasive nediums on your piece, mild soap and warm water are recommended. To remove dust from textured areas, use a microfiber cloth.

Serving boards and coasters are not recommended for extreme heat. It is best not to place heat sources above 50 degrees on an object coated with resin. The resin we use on our serving boards is labeled as food safe, but would discourage eating/drinking anything hot from any resin coated item, the resin is labelled food safe up to 50 degrees. We always recommend to cut your food items before placing them on the serving board.

Please keep out of extreme heat. If items do get hot they may become pliable. If exposed to extreme heat, item should be returned to room temperature on a flat surface so it can reharden into the correct shape. NOT microwave or dishwasher safe.
